On Average, what is typically included with a replacement bladder?
On average, most fuel cell replacement bladders include the following:
- A replacement bladder
- 5 years of FIA-FT3 certification (if applicable)
- Foam baffling
- A fill plate gasket
- A nutring
- An internal fuel pickup hose
Do all replacement bladders include FIA-FT3 certification?

When is a new replacement bladder required/ needed?
The time in which a replacement bladder is needed is dependent on the product line of the bladder and the variables / elements that the bladder is exposed to while in use.
****Check with your race sanctioning body rule book to find out if active FIA-FT3 certification is required on the fuel cell. IF it is required, then a replacement bladder would need to be purchased every 5 years.****
- On average, most flexible fuel bladders, such as our Sportsman® and Pro Cell® bladders, will typically last 5-10 years as long as the variables / elements that the bladder is exposed to while in use do not negatively impact the bladder. (still only 5 years of FIA-FT3 certification)
- On average, most rigid / hard sided fuel bladders, such as our Enduro® bladders, will typically last the entirety of the vehicle’s useful life as long as the variables / elements that the bladder is exposed to while in use do not negatively impact the bladder. (still only 5 years of FIA-FT3 certification)
